ADVISA: Predictive Index (Managing People to Perform) – Brian J. McKay
Because I’m alive! I actually almost died when I was 8 years because I had a tumor the size of softball growing on my kidney pressing up on my intestines and other organs. Come to find out, when the doctors found it, it was almost to the point of rupturing. I had Leukemia (blood cancer) and a Wilm’s Tumor on my kidney. Long story short, as of 2019 I am now 18 years cancer free!
An eye for technique and proper form. I have the ability to coach a very intense class, while keeping it fun at the same time, because I want everyone to be better when they leave than when they entered the door.
Being able to have the privilege of serving the people that walk through our doors is truly something that I love and have a strong passion and controlled purpose for. Having the opportunity to engage with members and people throughout their days and in deeper ways throughout their lives, allows me to be part of creating a community that people want to be part of. In return, I realize how fortunate I am to help people feel better about themselves and how lucky I am to work in an environment that has the profound ability to make life-changing positive adaptations for people every single day. I relish having the propensity to go above and beyond the movements and connect with members through my presence, attitude and listening skills. I find it enlightening and empowering to know that our words as trainers will lead to actions, that our actions will lead to habits, and our habits will ultimately dictate our future – and that we are able to help guide members through their own journey in that way.
