I had no notable athletic background when I found CrossFit as a “resolution-er” on January 2 nd , 2012. I immediately fell in love with the sport and went on to compete for three years as part of the NapTown team. Mid-2014, just two years after I discovered CrossFit, I quit my full-time job to pursue a career in fitness and I’ve never looked back! I very recently gave birth to my first child. I coached classes, worked with Personal Training clients, and worked out myself throughout my entire pregnancy. I completely credit my physical and mental fitness through CrossFit and SWIFT for my relatively uneventful pre and postnatal experience and quick and easy labor and delivery!
I particularly enjoy working with those new to CrossFit and fitness in general. There is something so inspirational about people taking that first step outside of their comfort zone toward health and becoming better versions of themselves. I love witnessing the transformation first-hand and I love being a part of that journey even more. I strive to make everyone I coach feel capable and empowered, leaving the gym happier after their time spent there. I believe fitness can and should be approachable and fun, so members can always count on me for well-timed yet horribly unfunny joke…most often at my own expense!
Life is too short to feel like crap—and sometimes people just need a challenge or a little push to start to feel better. It’s amazing what can happen when small changes eventually become lifestyle changes. I’m proud to be part of an incredible team that challenges and pushes everyone to reach their goals.
