Cooking. I love trying out new recipes and techniques, meal prepping, and exploring the Indy food scene.
My ability to press “next song” on Pandora/Spotify and, through sheer force of will, conjure up the perfect song for the moment.
At my full time job I am a “desk person”, so I try to bring that perspective to my classes. Lots of members are in the same boat so I think it’s good to keep that in mind when going through warm ups and mobility work to prepare for high intensity workouts after sitting at a desk all day.
Coming out of college I was not very fit or healthy. After finding CrossFit and learning about the holistic approach that includes nutrition and sleep in addition to exercise, I was able to turn things around. I want to pay it forward now and help be that catalyst for change in other people and so far that has been extremely rewarding for me.
