I’ve realized how fitness can play a role in reaching other goals in life. Over the years, my goals and fitness has changed. I’ve had two beautiful children now, and my goals and aspirations keep changing and evolving to fit my life stage, just like my fitness and body’s capabilities have. I love that I am working to set an example of health and fitness for my girls at an early age, even though it may or may not mean having the best score on the whiteboard. Beating my past self means more than getting a better score; it also means having grace and understanding for the woman who brought two amazing souls into the world and is seeking balance.
I bring hard work, accountability, and encouragement. Honestly, I know what’s important for me to succeed, so I try to give that to the clients I work with. I’m a teacher at heart, so I love to share what I’ve learned with others, especially when it proves to be just what they need to get one step further.
Over the years, it has become important for me to live a balanced life, putting a certain emphasis on fitness and nutrition. I have been able to overcome health obstacles without the use pharmaceutical intervention because of a dedication to giving my body the best. I believe that living an active life, whatever form that takes, is important for everyone. I am always honored when I am allowed to be on this journey with someone else.
