Lift Off into Appreciation Week
We are officially one month away from the NapTown 5 Year Anniversary Party (don’t forget to buy your tickets on Front Desk)! The week leading up to the anniversary party we will be holding our second annual community week where every member will be given one week of unlimited membership and access to all of our programs. This will be your opportunity to try out new things and see what it is like to come to the gym more than 2 or 3 times a week. This is our way of saying thank you for helping us to grow over the past 5 years into a fitness brand that serves members of the Indianapolis community all over the city with a program to fit everyone’s needs and wants. We hope that you take advantage of the opportunity to step outside of your fitness comfort zone and try a new class. Flow into Hip Hop Yoga, try getting a quick sweat on over at SWIFT, or experience the benefits of barbells in a CrossFit class or Barbell Club.
For the culmination of Member Appreciation week, we will be participating in the CrossFit Lift Off. No need to be intimidated by the big C word, this is simply another workout. You will, however, have the option to sign up online to compete in this online celebration of lifting and fitness. In classes on Friday, we will be running the Lift Off workout with members counting and cheering for a partner before taking the workout on for themselves. It will be totally scalable just like every workout within the NapTown Fitness family of programming. From 9:00 to 10:30am on Saturday, we will be giving members who sign up for the Lift Off to complete their lifting portion of the competition, establishing a one rep max snatch and clean and jerk in that time period. This is the perfect opportunity for veterans and beginners alike to get in an encouraging environment and test their Olympic Lifting skills.
There will be three divisions: Open (all ages), Masters (40+), and Teenage (14-17). Anyone 14 years old or older can compete. It costs $10 to sign up. Registration begins Saturday, Oct. 15 at Games.CrossFit.com. Click here for more details on the 2016 Lift Off.
