CrossFit Weekly Programming Preview : 3/20-3/26

Open WOD 17.4 scores are due at 8:00pm on Monday March 20th. Just one week of the Open left guys! We are having a post Open celebration on March 25th from 12:30 to 3:00pm ish at the Capitol location. We will have a few heats of 17.5 at that time as well as the 17.6 challenge (a workout involving fun and games and food/drink rather than regular sports misery).

Monday:
starting the week off with a fun, action packed class with strength and metcon work mixed in. Pay close attention at the start of class so you know what is going on when the action starts moving!

Tuesday:
working on some light weight pressing to start the day off after some mobility work to get you feeling good after a tough class on Monday. The workout of the day is quick bursts of work with a lot of rest so you are ready to give a great sprint effort for each attempt.

Wednesday:
time trial test day! We are going to be hitting a few rounds of a movement building up the intensity each round to an eventual time trial effort. We tried this last week but the weather said heck no so we will see what this week brings!

Thursday:
today is a mix of cardio pieces and the barbell to get you moving before the final Open workout tomorrow. If you are not signed up for the Open, this workout can be pushed plenty hard to have you walking out feeling accomplished today.

Friday:
17.4! We have no idea what will be released so be ready for anything! You can watch the Open announcements live on games.crossfit.com or check in on the blog later Thursday evening or Friday morning.

Saturday:
our hope is to get outside and play around a little bit this week with some odd objects (trying to make up last week’s workout…AGAIN!). This workout may change pending on the weather and the workout that we see as 17.5.

Have a fun and fit week!
