CrossFit Weekly Program Preview : 11/21-11/27
Time to get back into strength work! We will continue to workout on Olympic Lifting in the form of hitting positions but also begin to add in more pure strength work on squatting, pulling, and pressing. The theme as we head into December will be goal setting. We are encouraging you all to set goals through the month of December to stay motivated to finish out 2016 and hit 2017 running.
starting the day off with the first of your strength work in the form of back squats. Your day will finish off with the first of our Open workout retests. It is starting to be that time of year again where we start pushing beyond our comfort zones and take a step into the pain cave to prepare for the 2017 CrossFit Open.
another strength piece to start your day, this time with pulling. Your cardio piece today will be all of the cardio intervals. Be prepared to suck some wind.
with a short week due to Thanksgiving, we are throwing one last strength piece at you today before settling into the holiday weekend. You will become well acquainted with a dumbbell today for your workout. All single arm work that will have your shoulders and booties a burning by the end of this 3 round workout.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Classes are cancelled today. If you are heading out of town, see if their is a local run in the area you are visiting or hit up the very well run Drumstick Dash in Broadripple if you are staying in town. If you have crowds, just grab a few friends and or family members and drag them around the neighborhood for a 5k run.
limited class schedule today with just a 9:00am, Noon, and 4:00pm class at Delaware and 10:00am Open Gym at Monon. Your programmed workout today will be a series of bodyweight tabatas that will have you sweating out all the turkey, stuffing, and pie you enjoyed on Thursday.
Big old sweaty team workout to finish off your weekend. This is a high rep bodyweight workout that will ask you to communicate and work together to get done as fast as possible!
